Privacy Policy — Space Saver

Summary

Space Saver processes everything exclusively on your device. No data is ever collected, stored, or transmitted to me or to any third party — not your photos or their content, and not even how many photos you have, what you delete, or how much space you free up.

How it works

With your permission, Space Saver scans your photo library directly on your device and suggests which photos you might want to delete to free up storage space. The entire analysis runs locally on your device — no artificial intelligence and no cloud processing are involved, and there is no network connection to any server of mine or of a third party.

No data collection

No personal data is collected. In particular:

• Your photos, videos, or their contents never leave your device.
• I receive no information about how many photos you have.
• I receive no information about what or how much you delete.
• There are no usage statistics, no tracking, and no advertising IDs.
• The app contains no analytics, tracking, or AI cloud services.

Note: if you have enabled the sharing of anonymous diagnostic and usage data with app developers in your iOS/macOS system settings, Apple may provide me with anonymized crash reports as a result. This is a system-level feature of Apple, not a feature of Space Saver, and it reveals nothing about your photos or how you use the app.

Access to your photo library

To make suggestions, Space Saver needs your consent to access your photo library via the standard iOS/macOS system permission. This access is processed exclusively on your device. You always decide yourself which photos are actually deleted.

Third-party services

Space Saver uses no third-party services — no tracking, no analytics tools, no ad networks, and no cloud or AI services.

Your rights

Because Space Saver does not collect or store any personal data, there is no data on my end to which access, correction, or deletion requests could apply. You're still welcome to reach out at any time using the contact address above.

Children

The app is not directed at children under 13.

Changes to this policy

This privacy policy may be updated as needed to reflect changes to the app or to legal requirements. The current version is always available on this page.
